Setting up starboard

This page guides you through the process of setting up starboard.

Firstly add Sly to your server if you haven't already.

Setting up starboard

You need MANAGE_SERVER permissions in your server

Use the following command in your server

sly setup-starboard

The bot will ask you for the channel in which you want to setup the starboard. This channel is where all the starred messages will be posted. Mention the channel, and the bot will setup the starboard automatically.

Make sure the bot has SEND_MESSAGES, EMBED_LINKS and READ_MESSAGES permission in that channel or starboard won't work.
